Termed as one of today’s most advanced vehicles to hit the road, the latest Koenigsegg Regera Hybrid Hypercar has much more to boast than just a super fast engine. With up to 1,500 hp, 1,475 lb-ft of torque, a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 and 3 electric motors, the new Koeniggsegg Regera is expected to cost a whopping $2.37 million.
Though bound to hit the bottom of quite a few pockets, there’s no telling that, come December 2016, there will be hoards of people awaiting its arrival. There’s only one catch though; only 80 examples of the vehicle will be made available for sale.
The Koeniggsegg Regera has a top speed of 248 mph (399.117 km/h) and it can go from 0 to 60 mph (96.5 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds. It even features a 9.27 kWh lithium-ion battery pack provided by Rimac Automobili which provides up to 22 miles of electric-only driving range. It was showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
