New Audi RS 3: The Urban Sports Car
Audi RS3 is a car with a 400 PS five-cylinder super powerful engine that can accelerate at a speed of 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The Audi RS 3 now offers an average of 500 Nm torque, to get that sports spirit and look in the car.
According to Sebastian Grams, who is acting as the current Managing Director of the Audi Sport GmbH, the car itself is a power-packed sports beast. But what’s more exceptional is that all of these amazing sports features are packed within an urban drive-friendly body. Making it a perfect choice for everyday use as well.
Magic of the 2.5 TFSI
The Audi Rs 3 engine is a five-cylinder base system which is quite rare. But the 2. TFSI setup allows the car to achieve the top speed of 250 km/h, which can be upgraded up to 280 km/h.
Within the rpm range of 2250-5600 rpm, the car can achieve an average 500 Nm torque boost which is roughly 20 Nm more than the previous TFSI generation. Not only this, the RS 3 comes with a variable flap control system as well which can be adjusted through the Audi drive select system.
There are certain changes with the car suspension and wheel chamber that are introduced in RS 3. The pivot bearings and the lower-level wishbones got equipped with additional stabilizers, stiffed bearings, and more effective subframes.
Also, as the steering angle gradually begins to increase, the steering effect starts to become more and more direct with the gear ratio becoming compact. The shock absorbers and springs setup are also stiff, allowing the body to become 25 mm lower than the famous A3 itself and approximately 10 mm lower than the S35.
