Brabus Rocket 900 Launched at Geneva Motor Show
The German tuner Brabus has unleashed the new Brabus Rocket 900 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This is the latest customization work from Brabus using the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG.
As signified by its name, the Brabus Rocket 900 is a high performance car that derives 900 horsepower from a 6.3 liter V12 engine. It must be noted that the original S65 AMG uses a 6.0 liter V12 engine giving 630 horsepower maximum. With increased engine output, the Brabus Rocket 900 can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds, while its top speed is specified as 350km/h.
Other changes in the vehicle include a billet crankshaft, precision-balanced custom billet, new intake module and several design modifications. Moreover, it uses a newly designed stainless steel system rather than standard S65 exhaust manifold, while the stock twin turbochargers are replaced by larger units.
Mercedes-Benz has continuously been trying to penetrate new vehicle segments, specifically the high performance ones. The German automaker has recently introduced the Mercedes-AMG GT.
Man, this is a beast!
Did they say anything about the price, perhaps? Not that us puny mortals will be able to afford it, of course.
