The South Korean automaker revealed the new KIA Stinger GT earlier this year at the Detroit Motor Show and it quickly gained popularity being the first ever KIA a rear-wheel drive. Not only that, the automaker also assured it will be the fastest KIA vehicle ever built. Now, the automaker has disclosed more information regarding the new Stinger GT including its price.
The new Kia Stinger GT will go on sale from January 1, 2018. It will be available in three trim levels namely – GT-Line, GT-Line S and the GT-S. The GT-Line and GT-Line S models will be offered either with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine generating 244 bhp or a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 197 bhp. The range-topping GT-S trim will be powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine developing 365 bhp and will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. The top speed is limited to 168 mph. All trims will feature an eight-speed automatic transmission system.
On the inside, the Stinger GT will include an eight-inch touch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. The base model will start from £31,995 (approx $42,369), while the range-topping GT-S will cost £40,495 (approx $53,615).
