Lexus showcase event for global media happened in Japan on September 15th and 16th and there they revealed exciting plans for 2026.
The news came from Lexus International President Takashi Watanabe who talked about the new model of Lexus that has the potential of meeting the diversified needs of customers across the globe. He said that in 2026 they are going to introduce a next-generation battery EV that will have everything revolutionary including production method, software, and body structure.
He also revealed that the first concept of this model car will be unveiled in the coming Japan mobility show that’s happening in October this year.
Talking about innovation, we can say that Lexus is a game changer. Since 1989 it has constantly challenged the conventional luxury car norms and brought diversity to everybody. For instance, we see that the LM model is all about Elegance while LBX caters to size hierarchies. At the same time, GX is luxury personified and TX is exclusively for North American customers.
Takashi Watanabe was enthusiastic about bringing more diversified models for customers. The coming launch of Lexus EV has all good news in store for customers including sustainability. Car lovers are all excited and hopeful for this beautiful endeavour that Lexus is soon bringing to them.
