Known for its highly innovative and engineered designs, McLaren has showcased its brilliant sports car model at the International Geneva Motor Show. Tagged as the fastest, advanced and highly technical design, the new McLaren 650S (‘S’ for Sports) resembles the outlook of the racing car model from the McLaren, mainly the P1. The front bumper and the curved lines of 650S reflect a close similarity to the McLaren P1 racing car model. This car model is available as the fixed headed roadster, Spider, having the electrically folding hard top, thus, defining a new standard for the appealing high performance car model.
The model is powered by M838T Twin Turbo V8 Engine for a dashing output of ultimate power of 641 BHP. The transmission of the model is variable depending upon the choice of the buyer. The performance figure of the model will be further confirmed after the Motor Show in Geneva. In fact, it is expected to be modified afterwards. In the outlook, the model offers attractive features of the Led headlights which is again in resemblance with that of the McLaren P1 racing car model. The front splitter design offers the perfect split of air for extra down force in order to keep the drive stable at higher speeds.
On the technical front, the drag coefficient of 650S is same as that of 12C due to its high performance engine and clever aerodynamic design of the frame. Also, when the model crosses speed of 150 mph, the down force increases up to 24%, thus, giving a stable drive further. The new 5 spoke alloy wheels, Corsa Tires and wide wheelbase give extra boost up along with perfect grip on the road. In short, the new McLaren 650S is a perfect model which will be showcased globally on 4th March, 2014 at Geneva.
