Having said that, the suspension, transmission, wheels, tires, and engine are adopted from the regular 911 GT3.
A key difference is the omission of the rear wing of the 911 GT3, a newer rear spoiler technology is adopted. Another distinguishing feature is the addition of glossy anodized aluminum on the windowpane and surface embossing in the interior.
“Touring Package” has a long history with Porsche, dating back to the 1973 model of Carrera RS. The idea was again attempted in 2017 at the Type 991 GT3 and now in 2022.
The theme celebrates the “GT3 Touring” perfectly as the window trim strips and tailpipes are painted in a sober silver color matching with the dark-tinted lower front light modules.
This edition extends the vibes of a classic sports car; black leather, embossed Porsche Crests, and brushed black aluminum are used in interior construction. Moreover, the optimal quality of Porsche is maintained in the 911 GT3 Touring Package; every feature is unique whether it be Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus or Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes. Aesthetics are high; such as the dial bezel has a matte black finish. While the chronograph effect is specially produced by a Swiss watchmaking factory specially reserved for Porsche.
The avid buyers could fetch in this “Touring Package” version of the Porsche 911 GT3 by the start of 2022 at an introductory price of $162,100 + $1,350 (delivery charges).
