A new teaser for the SSC Tuatara supercar has been unveiled by the North American automaker that made headlines back in 2011 with its Tuatara concept. The auto manufacturer, earlier known as Shelby Super Cars, was all over the news with the Ultimate Aero supercar that was touted as the most powerful production vehicle in the world. The Aero was capable of speeding at a mind boggling 412 km/h and held the title for a while, until it was topped by Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. SSC also promised an exciting Tuatara supercar that was to break all land speed records for a production car.
To take things ahead, a teaser for the SSC Tuatara supercar has been recently unveiled that provides a synopsis of the much awaited super vehicle. As per reports, it is expected to include a 7.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 delivering 1,350 bhp that will see it achieving the 0-100kmph milestone in just about 2.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 440 kph. Developed in collaboration with Nelson Racing Engines, the powerful supercar is all set to reclaim the global title for the SSC but with tough hypercar competitors like Koenigsegg Agera RS and the Bugatti Chiron delivering record speeding figures, this is a wait and watch scenario.
