Volvo Car Corporation is presenting a Quick Processing charger that can charge the battery fully within 1.5 hours and this charger operates six times faster than the on-board devices. The new charger is 22Kw having the ability to charge in 30 minutes for 80km with three phase supply and will be fitted in the Volvo C30 Electric cars in the future. You can charge for 80km with in half hour to use the three-phase outlet with 32A and full charge takes 1.5 hour but on the other hand single phase 230 V household outlet will charge within 8-10 hours.
